The IRS's Office of Professional Responsibility (OPR) plays a vital role in protecting the tax system through the administration and enforcement of standards for tax professionals who practice before the IRS. The OPR is strongly committed to education and outreach as a means of helping practitioners understand and comply with the requirements set forth in Circular 230, Regulations Governing Practice before the Internal Revenue Service. 

Presentation topics include Circular 230’s rules and requirements, processes and procedures for administration and enforcement of those obligations, and common compliance issues or problems observed in practice. These sessions are designed to be informative, practical, and tailored to the needs and experience level of the professional tax preparer. 2 CE credits will be earned by attending.
